Veliyan Samba Idli Rice (Unpolished & Parboiled)

Ingredients

1.1glass Urad Dal
2. 4glass Pillai’s Unpolished Veliyan Samba Idlli Rice
3. 1tsp Fenugreek
4. Water
5. Required Salt

Cooking Instruction

1.Soak a glass of urad dal, 4 glasses of Pillai’s unpolished Veliyan Samba Idli Rice, and a teaspoon of fenugreek seeds overnight. 2.Add the soaked fenugreek seeds to the grinder and blend them. 3.Then, add soaked urad dal and grind it. 4.Later, remove the urad dal and fenugreek mixture. Transfer it to another vessel.
5. After that, add water and soaked veliyan samba idli rice. Grind it. 6.Combine the ground rice with the urad dal and fenugreek blend mixture. Mix them well. 7.Add salt to it. Leave it overnight for fermentation. Use this batter for idli and dosa.
