1.1 kg chicken, cleaned and cut into pieces
2.1/2 cup yogurt
3.2 tbsp Homemade Madurai Arabian Alfaham Chicken Masala
4.1 tbsp red chili powder
5.1 tsp turmeric powder
6.2 tbsp lemon juice
7. Salt, to taste
8. Oil, for grilling
1. Cut the whole chicken in such a way as to flatten it. In a bowl, mix the curd, salt, black pepper powder, ginger-garlic paste, and lemon juice. Apply the mixture to the chicken and let it rest in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
2. In a mixing jar, add 3–4 tbsp of Pillai’s Homemade Madurai Arabian Alfaham Chicken Masala, tomatoes, onion, coriander leaves, green chilli, ginger-garlic paste, and oil. Grind it to a fine paste. Marinate the chicken one more time with this paste for 2-3 hours.
3. Heat oil in a pan and place the chicken. Cover and cook on medium heat for 20–30 minutes. Brush with oil occasionally. Once cooked, remove the chicken from the pan. Place it on a grill or wire rack. Show it directly on the flame on both sides until it starts to brown and turn charred.
Arabian Alfaham Chicken is ready.
