1.In a pan, add 1 tbsp oil, ½ tsp mustard seeds, peanuts, 2 chillies, a chopped onion, tomatoes, carrots, cabbage, 1 tsp red chilli powder, and salt. Saute well.
2.To this tempering, add a cup of Pillai’s Horsegram Millet Flakes and mix well. Sprinkle some water and coriander leaves.
3.Cover with a lid and allow it to cook for 30 seconds on a low flame.
A healthy millet poha or upma is ready. [Note: Do not soak or rinse the flakes.]
