Proso Millet Upma

Ingredients

1.1 cup Proso Millet Rava
2.1 onion, chopped
3.1/4 cup green peas
4.1 carrot, chopped
5.2-3 green chillies, chopped
6.1/2 inch ginger, grated
7.2 cups water
8.Salt, to taste
9.1 tsp mustard seeds
10.1 tsp cumin seeds
111 tbsp oil
12.A few curry leaves
13.Coriander leaves, chopped for garnish

Cooking Instruction

1.Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds and curry leaves. Let them splutter.
2.Add chopped onions and green chillies, sauté until the onions turn translucent.
3.Add grated ginger, chopped carrots, and green peas. Mix well and sauté for a few minutes.
4.Add 2 cups of water and salt. Bring it to a boil.
5.Slowly add the Proso Millet Rava while stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
6.Cover the pan and cook on low flame for 5-7 minutes, or until the upma is cooked.
7.Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
