1. 1 cup of Karunkuruvai rice flour
2. 1/2 cup of grated coconut
3. 1/4 cup of jaggery
4. 1/4 teaspoon of cardamom powder
5. 1/4 teaspoon of salt
6. Water as needed
7. Oil or Ghee greasing
1.In a mixing bowl, add Pillai’s Karunkuruvai Rice Flour, salt, and hot water at intervals. Mix them to a crumbly texture. 2.The mixture should be dry and, at the same time, a little moist. 3.Mix the flour with your fingertips, and there should not be lumps. 4.Spread the mixture either on idli plates or fill it in the Puttu maker. Steam this for 15 minutes. Sprinkle grated coconut. 5.Now, the delicious and healthy Karunkuruvai Rice Puttu is ready. You can have this with country sugar and banana or with curries of your choice.
