1.In a mixing bowl, add a cup of Pillai’s Mappillai Samba Rice Flour, the required salt, and sprinkle hot water at intervals.
2.Mix them to a crumbly texture. The mixture should be dry and, at the same time, a little moist.
3.Mix the flour with your fingertips, and there should not be lumps. Spread the mixture either on idli plates or fill it in the Puttu maker.
4.Steam this for 15 minutes. Sprinkle grated coconut.
5.Now, the delicious and healthy Mappillai Samba Rice Puttu is ready.
6.You can have this with country sugar and banana or with curries of your choice.
