Ingredients

1. 2tsp Oil 2.1/2tsp mustard seeds
3.1/2tsp urad dal 4.1/2tsp chana dal
5.2green chillie 6.1Onion
7.2 1/2-3cup Water
8.Required Salt

Cooking Instruction

1.Heat a pan on an induction or gas stove. Dry roast 1 cup of Pillai’s Pearl millet rava and set aside. 2.In the same pan, add 2 tablespoons of oil, 1 tablespoon of mustard seeds, chana dal and urad dal, a few curry leaves, 2 chopped green chilies, 1 chopped onion, and saute well. Add 2 ½ – 3 cups of water and the required salt, bring them to a boil, and then add the roasted rava and wait for 5-8 minutes. A healthy pearl millet rava upma is now ready.
