7.Add 2 1//2 to 3 cups of water
1.Heat a pan on an induction or gas stove. Dry roast 1 cup of Pillai’s Foxtail millet rava and set aside. 2.In the same pan, add 2 tablespoons of oil, 1 tablespoon of mustard seeds, chana dal and urad dal, a few curry leaves, 2 chopped green chilies, 1 chopped onion, and saute well.
3. Add 2 ½ – 3 cups of water and the required salt, bring them to a boil, and then add the roasted rava and wait for 5-8 minutes.
4. A healthy foxtail millet rava upma is now ready.
