Bamboo Rice Chapati / Poori

Ingredients

1. Pillai’s Bamboo Rice Chapati / Poori Mix 
2. Water
3. Salt

Cooking Instruction

CHAPATI METHOD:
1. In a bowl, mix Pillai’s Bamboo Rice Chapati / Poori Mix with water and salt to taste.
2. Knead the dough until smooth and set aside for a few minutes.
3. Make small sections of the dough and roll each one into a thin, round chapati.
4. Cook the chapati on both sides on a tawa or skillet. If desired, brush with oil or ghee. Serve hot with your favourite curries.

POORI METHOD:
1. In a bowl, mix Pillai’s Bamboo Rice Chapati / Poori Mix with water and salt to taste.
2. Knead the dough until smooth and set aside for a few minutes.
3. Make small sections of the dough and roll each one into a thin, round chapati.
4. Heat oil in a deep frying pan and deep-fry the pooris until they puff up and turn golden brown.
5. Drain the excess oil and serve the hot pooris with your favourite side dishes.
