1. 1 cup field beans/mochai kottai
2. 2 cups water
3. 1tsp oil
4.1tsp mustard seeds
5.1tsp urad dal
6.1tsp chana dal
7.curry leaves
8.Pinch asafoetida
9.Sprinkle Grated coconut
1. Soak Pillai’s Indian Field Bean / Mochai Kottai overnight.
2. Boil it by adding the required salt. Strain the excess water.
3. Add oil, mustard seeds, urad dal, chana dal, curry leaves, and asafoetida to a pan.
4. Mix boiled Indian Field Bean / Mochai Kottai with this tempering and sprinkle some grated coconut.
